Cheltenham winner Great Endeavour goes for a big-race double in the Hennessy Gold Cup at Newbury on Saturday.
The horse won the Paddy Power Gold Cup earlier in the month for David Pipe, whose father Martin saddled Celestial Gold to claim both races in 2004.
The weights are headed by Neptune Collonges, one of three entries for champion trainer Paul Nicholls.
Ruby Walsh rides Aiteen Thirtythree for Nicholls while Noel Fehily is on board the long absentee Michel Le Bon.
The £150,000, three-and-a-quarter-mile contest is one of the biggest races of the National Hunt season and its roll call of recent winners include Denman, who triumphed for Nicholls in 2007 and 2009.
Two of last season's leading novice chasers in Wayward Prince and Wymott both take their chance, while Planet Of Sound is one of three runners for Philip Hobbs along with Fair Along and Balthazar King.
Eighteen horses were declared for the race, including The Giant Bolster, Sarando, Blazing Bailey, Beshabar, Carruthers, Muirhead, Tullamore Dew, Billie Magern and Qhilimar.
Pipe hopes stamina will not be an issue for Great Endeavour, the mount of Timmy Murphy, as he faces a trip six furlongs further than at Cheltenham a fortnight earlier.
"I think he'll be all right over the distance and we'll leave the tactics to Timmy - he knows what he's doing," said the Somerset trainer.
"In the main he's a good jumper and apart from that mistake at the last at Cheltenham it was probably the best round of jumping I've seen him put in."
