Republic of Ireland boss Giovanni Trapattoni is already focused on Tuesday's crunch game with Armenia after an easy 2-0 win in Andorra.
The Republic only need a draw from the Dublin clash to make the Euro 2012 play-offs, but Trapattoni wants his team to strive for a victory.
"We have to play to win and and with this mentality we will get the win," said Trapattoni.
Russia are set to win the group after a 1-0 away success against Slovakia.
The Republic scored both goals in a bright opening 20 minutes and Trappatoni was happy with with his team's attitude.
He added: "We started very, very well - we were very determined and there was a will to win."
Man-of-the-match Aiden McGeady set up the second goal, his fizzing shot pushed out by the keeper with the ball flying back into the net after striking midfielder Marcio Vieira.
"I just remember hitting the shot and the deflection but of course I'll take it if it is given to me," said the Spartak Moscow winger.
"Everyone was apprehensive before the game, knowing we had to get the three points and now it is down to us to cement that second place.
"Armenia are in a good run of form and it will be a tough game.
"We go out to win every game and we'll be aiming to take the three points on Tuesday night."
