Irish Teams Get Champions news


Shamrock Rovers have drawn Estonian opposition in the second round of qualifying for the Champions League.

The Hoops, who won the Airtricity League last term and currently top the table for this season, will take on Flora Tallinn in their second round tie.

The first leg of the second round matches will take place 12-13 July, while the return legs will go ahead a week later on 19-20 July.

Irish League champions Linfield will take on Belarusian champions BATE Borisov.

In the Europa League, Saint Patrick's Athletic have been drawn against IBV of Iceland in the first qualifying round.

Should the Saints progress they will meet either FC Koper or FC Shaktar Karagandy in the second qalifying Round.

Bohemians will face the winners of the clash between Siroki Brijeg and Olimpija Ljubljana.

Glentoran take on TNS of Wales in what looks an intriguing clash.

Fulham will meet Crusaders in the second round of the Europa League, assuming the English side come through a first round tie with NSI Runavik of the Faroe Islands.

Sligo Rovers enter the Europa League at the third qualifying stage.
