Sir Henry Cooper, a British boxing legend who once knocked down the great Cassius Clay, has died aged 76.
The London-born left-hander was one of the sport's biggest personalities and was a cult figure both in and out of the ring.
Cooper was the first to win the BBC Sports Personality of the Year award twice (in 1967 and 1970) and one of only three two-time winners in the award's history.
The year of his second award also saw him cement his reputation as one of the greatest post-war boxers, becoming British, Commonwealth and European heavyweight champion.
He was knighted in 2000.
