Forgotten spinner Michael Beer has landed a shock recall to the Australia Test squad in a 16-man touring party for the three-match series in West Indies.
Beer, who played his sole Test against England in the 2010-2011 Ashes series, will be locked in a battle with fellow spinner Nathan Lyon for a place in the XI.
Uncapped wicketkeeper Matthew Wade was picked alongside veteran gloveman Brad Haddin in the squad.

Peter Forrest, who made his one-day international debut recently in the tri-series, has also been named.
Shaun Marsh's horror run in the Test series against India cost him a place on the tour.
Young fast bowler Patrick Cummins was not considered due to injury, but James Pattinson, Shane Watson and Michael Clarke are all expected to be fit for the first Test.
National selector John Inverarity said the squad was flexible.
"The panel believes the inclusion of five fast bowlers, two spinners and two wicketkeepers will provide important flexibility and cover for any injuries that may occur in a country that is not easily accessible by replacement or standby players," Inveriarity said.
"It is anticipated Michael Clarke will be fully recovered and take his place as captain for the first Test match in Barbados beginning on April 7.
"Shane Watson will come back into the Test XI and he could replace Shaun Marsh in the vitally important No.3 position, while James Pattinson's availability will be welcomed after his excellent performances during the first four Test matches of his career during the Australian summer.
"Patrick Cummins was not considered for selection as his fitness is not well enough progressed."
