Scotland manager Craig Levein has made only one change to the side that lost 2-1 to Wales on Fridayfor Tuesday night's match against Belgium.
Wigan midfielder James McArthur replaces the injured Scott Brown in an otherwise unchanged starting eleven.
Belgium are top of Group A with seven points from three matches, Scotland are second from bottom.
Boss Levein has admitted Scotland need to win to retain any hope of qualification.
Despite the national team's poor start to the qualification campaign, the players have expressed their support for manager Levein.
Speaking on Monday, Scotland captain Darren Fletcher said: "The players are fully behind the manager, We're desperate for the performance and the win for the manager, because we believe in him, as a team, as a group."
Scotland began the campaign with two home draws with against Serbia and Macedonia before defeat against Wales in Cardiff on Friday night. They now face Belgium, who are unbeaten in their opening three matches.
Former Dundee United boss Levein has opted to make only one change from the team that lost to Wales - with James McArthur taking the place of Celtic captain Scott Brown who came off injured on Friday night.
Levein said in the aftermath of the game that he was happy with his side's performance despite the defeat and his selection reflects that.
