Bolton Wanderers are without in-form forward Daniel Sturridge for Sunday’s FA Cup semi-final against Stoke City at Wembley.
Sturridge has been the in form player since joining Wanderers on loan from Chelsea in January, scoring six times in eight appearances for the North West outfit.
However, the 21-year-old is unable to play in this competition so manager Owen Coyle will turn to either Rodrigo Moreno or Ivan Klasnic for the match at Wembley Stadium, with the winners to face Manchester City on May 14th.
Wanderers are boosted by the return of Mark Davies from an ankle injury, but they remain without long-term casualty Stuart Holden who will not return to action until next season.
Paul Robinson could return to the starting XI at left-back after missing the last two league matches as he walks a disciplinary tightrope, with one more booking meaning he would serve a suspension.
Stoke City, meanwhile, could be boosted by the return of veteran forward John Carew from a back injury that has kept him on the sidelines for the past four matches.
Manager Tony Pulis has confirmed Thomas Sorensen will start in goal for the Potters, but defender Danny Higginbotham will be forced to watch from the stands after suffering a season ending cruciate ligament injury.
