Liverpool and Everton fans stood united in silence at Wembley to remember the 96 fans who died in the Hillsborough tragedy in 1989.
Despite the lunchtime start, the red and blue halves of Merseyside were out in force for the club's first meeting at the national stadium since the famous 1989 final.
That had come just weeks after the Hillsborough disaster, the 23rd anniversary of which was being marked at Anfield on Sunday and was also remembered before kick-off.
