Amir Khan's promoter told Sky Sports News HD the WBA have informed him they will order a rematch between the British fighter and Lamont Peterson.

Video subsequently emerged showing a man speaking with WBA supervisor Michael Walsh at ringside during the fight and handling slips of paper Khan says belonged to the judges.
Golden Boy Promotions CEO Richard Schaefer revealed the IBF have told him the man in question is one of their officials, Mustafa Ameen, but he was not at the fight in an official capacity.
"The mystery man in the black wool hat has a name - his name is Mustafa Ameen," said Schaefer.
"The IBF have confirmed to us his name and confirmed that he is involved in an official capacity with the IBF.
"However, as stated earlier, he was not in Washington in an official IBF capacity.
"We have been informed today (Jan 7) by the WBA that they will order a rematch.
"We received verbal confirmation today and we will get written confirmation by next Tuesday.
"That means that no fighter can take an interim fight, that the next fight for Peterson would be a rematch.
"We hope that the IBF will follow because that's the least they can do. The ruling of the WBA to order an immediate rematch should put additional pressures on the IBF."
He is also hopeful that the outcome of the fight will be changed to "no
contest", allowing Khan to retain his belts, but said: "It's difficult to
guess the no-contest ruling. I certainly hope this could happen."
Smoke
Schaefer added: "There is a lot of smoke, and there is more and more smoke coming up as we are digging deeper.
"You cannot just go out and accuse people of things either.
"But there are a lot of question marks and these questions will need to be answered. If they are not, then I have my suspicions."
The IBF are due to hear Khan's appeal against the result on January 18 and do not plan on making any comment until then.
