UCD Looking for Bohs Home Win

Following last week’s defeat away to Dundalk Martin Russell will be looking for his teams’ first home win of the season. The students have yet to score a goal at home this season. A home win could lift the students up to 5th place in the table.

UCD last five fixtures have seen only win one game, the opening day fixture against Drogheda United, as well as scoreless draw with Galway United means that UCD sit in 8th place in the league. With 4 points from 5 games they are level with Galway United, in 9th, and three points a head of bottom team Drogheda United.

Martin Russell said today: “Despite Bohemians restructuring they are still able to field a team with league winners and guys that have European experience, our young side is looking forward to that challenge, from with they can learn a great deal.”

Martin Russell will have to make do with out defender Sean Harding, hamstring strain, and forward Cillian Morrison, ankle, for this fixture.
