Moriarty, Caldwell, Shaw and Kearney Stay in Turkey

Jamie McCleary of Scotland is the clubhouse leader in the Turkish Airlines Challenge after a round of 66 at the Carya Golf Club and holds a two shot margin from Frenchman Michael Lorenoz-Vera.

The over night leaders Ally Mellor, Paul Dwyer and Raymond Russell have afternoon tee times.

Ireland’s Colm Moriarty completed his round with another on two under par round after two birdies each side of the turn to complete the day in a business like fashion at the Carya course with a four under total score.

Jonathan Caldwell started strongly carding four birdies in the first five holes to reach the tenth in 32 shots. But a three consecutive bogeys on the home stretch gave him a back nine score  of  38 to finished two under par in round 2 and remain three under overall.

Niall Kearney shot three under par on the front nine and was level pegging until halfway adding to his score with another  birdie on 13. But bogeys on 15 and 17 ended his day on 70 and 2 under overall to make his first cut this season.

Gareth Shaw shot a 67 to ensure he made the cut.

The Carya Golf Club is a 7,178 yard par 72 course and was designed by five times Open Champion Peter Thomson in partnership with Ross Perrett and Tim Lobb.
